List taken from this video's description:

"Trump COWERS In Bunker As America Rises." The Damage Report, Youtube. [9:04] Trump cowers in an underground bunker as America rises during national protests. John Iadarola and Francesca Fiorentini break it down on The Damage Report. "As protests in response to the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officers continued outside the White House, President Donald Trump was reportedly taken into an underground bunker by the Secret Service for about an hour Friday evening. The New York Times first reported that the president was rushed to a bunker on Friday. CNN senior national correspondent Alex Marquardt confirmed that reporting in an appearance live from Washington, D.C. during a program hosted by Don Lemon. Marquardt discussed the protests that had occurred in D.C. and many other cities across America over the past few nights. Like several other cities, D.C. has imposed a curfew, effective at 11:00 pm local time. Marquardt noted that the protest had been peaceful during the day, but expected that it would start to get “violent” and “unruly” as the sun was setting. The National Guard has been deployed in D.C. to help keep order and was continuing to assist D.C. police and federal park service officers specifically in attempting to maintain distance between the protesters and the White House." On Saturday May 30th filmmaker and photographer David Jones of David Jones Media felt compelled to go out and serve the community in some way. He decided to use his art to try and explain the events that were currently impacting our lives. On day two, Sunday the 31st, he activated his dear friend author Kimberly Jones to tag along and conduct interviews. During a moment of downtime he captured these powerful words from her and felt the world couldn’t wait for the full length documentary, they needed to hear them now. https://youtu.be/sb9_qGOa9Go

We get response from Linda Sarsour, longtime Palestinian American Muslim organizer and co-founder of Until Freedom, which along with others has led the push to institute meaningful change. We also speak with author Mychal Denzel Smith, who notes that “one thing that’s come of this global pandemic of COVID-19 is an understanding of what constitutes essential, what do we actually need. And police have shown that they are inessential.” June 8, 2020. https://youtu.be/__pp_ywjn9A
  7. [Referenced / resourced, but not aired in segment] "Exonerated 'Central Park Five' Survivor Dr. Yusef Salaam on Black Trauma | NowThis." NowThis News, Youtube. [6:06] Dr. Yusef Salaam was imprisoned as a member of the Central Park Five, a group of Black and Hispanic teenagers who were falsely charged and convicted of an attack on a jogger in Central Park.   Though much of the public called for their execution, including future President Donald Trump, the Central Park 5 were eventually exonerated and have shared their experience as a warning against systemic police racism and police brutality, as seen in the documentary series When They See Us.  As the Black Lives Matter comes to the forefront in the wake of the killing of George Floyd, protests throughout the world are waking us up to the shared experience of Black trauma in a society that is unfairly biased against them. The Black experience shared by many African Americans is wrought with the collective trauma of centuries of injustice, and as the Black Lives Matter protests and George Floyd protests continue to grow, we must not lose sight of the tragedies that led us to this moment. She is believed to be the youngest person legally executed in the United States. Ocuish was a Pequot Native American girl with an intellectual disability who was accused of killing six-year-old Eunice Bolles, the daughter of a wealthy farmer, after quarreling with her over some strawberries. The primary evidence against her was her confession to the investigators. At her execution, she thanked the sheriff for his kindness as she stepped forward to be hanged. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannah_Ocuish

Celia, a Slave was an 1855 murder trial held in the Circuit Court of Callaway County, Missouri, in which a slave woman named Celia was tried for the first-degree murder of her owner, Robert Newsom. Celia was convicted by a jury of twelve white men and sentenced to death. An appeal of the conviction was denied by the Supreme Court of Missouri in December 1855, and Celia was hanged on December 21, 1855. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_Missouri_v._Celia,_a_Slave
